Send a fax online from your computer or phone
FaxCan is an Ontario company. Upload the document, check the preview, confirm, and watch it go. C$15 a month for 200 pages and one fax number. We don't keep your documents. The PDF comes to your email, then we delete our copy, and the copy on our carrier account, within 24 hours at most.
Early access is a waitlist. You can't send a fax from this site today, and joining doesn't charge anything or reserve a number.
1. Add the document
PDF, iPhone photos (HEIC included), JPG, PNG, TIFF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument, RTF or text. Up to 40 pages and 99 MB per fax. Several files become one fax, in the order you add them.
2. Add a cover sheet (optional)
Fill in To, Attention, Re and a short message, and mark it Urgent, Please reply or Confidential. FaxCan can suggest the recipient fields from the document; you check them.
3. Preview and confirm
You see every page exactly as it will be faxed, cover sheet included. Nothing is dialled until you confirm.
4. Track it and keep the receipt
Live status from dialling to delivered, with an estimate based on the number of pages and recent calls. A busy line is retried automatically by the carrier. When it's done, the receipt and PDF arrive by email, then we delete our copy within 24 hours.
Questions
Do I need a fax machine or a landline to send a fax online?
No. FaxCan sends the fax over the public phone network for you. You only need a browser on a phone or computer.
What files can I fax?

How do I know it went through?
The status page shows dialling, sending and delivered (or failed, with the reason the carrier gave). "Delivered" means the receiving machine confirmed the pages. A receipt with the PDF is emailed to you.
