Privacy notice and early-access terms

When you join the list we collect your email address, the kind of office and monthly page range you chose (if any), which page you signed up from, the date, and a one-way hash of your internet address used only to limit spam sign-ups. We use it to email you about FaxCan early access and nothing else. We don't sell or rent personal information.

You can unsubscribe from any email or ask us to delete your entry; we'll remove it. We keep waitlist entries until early access opens for you or you ask us to remove them.

We don't keep your documents. The PDF comes to your email, then we delete our copy, and the copy on our carrier account, within 24 hours at most. History keeps the fax number, time, page count, status and the number of files, not their contents or names. AI summaries are deleted with the document unless you choose to keep them.

• Cloudflare: hosting, sign-in, temporary document storage and some AI processing (cover-sheet suggestions).
• VoIP.ms (Canadian carrier): sends and receives the faxes over the phone network.
• Email delivery (Resend or Cloudflare Email): receipts and incoming-fax emails, with the PDF.
• WhipNode: reads documents (OCR) to produce the summary and suggestions; documents uploaded to it expire within an hour and are deleted after use.
• Stripe: will process cards once billing opens. We won't store card numbers.

Some of these services process data outside Canada. This plan doesn't promise Canadian data residency.

Joining the waitlist is free, doesn't open an account, doesn't reserve a fax number and isn't an agreement to buy. Prices and features described on this site are what we plan for early access and may change before you subscribe; final prices and terms are shown before you pay. FaxCan isn't for health records, isn't a records archive, and may not be used to send unsolicited or bulk faxes.
